PISE’s accessible four lane training track is officially open!


Track and BuildingThe community can now enjoy the track as a part of PISE programs and services and access it for free when it is not booked for training. Running groups are welcome to rent the track for training. Email to book.

Our partners, Camosun College and Canadian Sport Institute Pacific, will also have booked time on the track to train students and athletes. Additionally, a number of national teams train at PISE including Athletics Canada that have made Victoria their Western Hub, Triathlon Canada, Rowing Canada and Rugby.


Incline trackPeninsula Co-op Incline Training Area

The track has a unique feature of an incline training area. This rubberized surface allows individuals to do hill training with low impact.

A fun area just for kids is a wonderful part of the track project! It is a colourful area with a rubberized surface where Physical Literacy programs can take place and kids are welcome to play there when they visit PISE.

Special Events

• The PISE track, seating and outdoor training zone will enhance a variety of community sport and physical activity events such as the Island Savings Family Festival. Local sport organizations such as the Highlanders and South Island Soccer Association and others will be able to enhance training and run more games at PISE. Schools will be able to host a variety of athletics events.
