Adapted Programs & Services

Our Adapted Programs & Services team is highly skilled in adapting exercises and workout routines to the specific needs of clients. PISE strives to be inclusive in our programs, so if there is a program that you are interested in other than our specific Adapted Programs, but have some specific needs in order to participate, please contact PISE’s Adapted Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Elysia Atkinson, at eatkinson@piseworld.com.

ADAPTED STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

The Victoria Wheelchair Sports Club and PISE are proud to offer a Strength and Conditioning program designed specifically for people with mobility limitations. This program will take place in PISE’s main Fitness Centre and focus on mobility, functionality and stability, while taking into account your sport and/or fitness needs.

This program takes place three times a week, and you can register for just one or all three of the sessions!

Personal Conditioning is designed around your schedule. You pick the days and times that work for you and we will be there with you!

PISE currently works with individuals who have conditions such as cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, autism, amputations, neuralgia, spina bifida, multiple sclerosis, arthritis and post cancer treatment. PISE also works with organizations such as the Victoria Wheelchair Basketball Club and Recreation Integration Victoria to be able to offer discounts on certain programs or assistance if required.
